“Ted Berner and the Wildside Catering team provided the catering for our wedding on 4th August this year and we couldn’t speak more highly of them. The food was so good that our friends are still speaking about it three months later and two couples who were at our wedding have booked Wildside for weddings next year. The menu and quality of food was amazing considering the amount of people he was catering for and the relaxed and friendly attitude of Ted and his team helped to set a wonderful atmosphere on the day. The beef and lamb cooked over an open fire was absolutely delicious and the pizzas Ted served as “afters food” were beautiful. The only problem was people were so full after the canapés, starters and main course (there seemed to be a non-stop supply of food) that they could barely fit the pizzas in! An unexpected benefit of using Wildside Catering was the industry contacts Ted was able to put us in touch with and we ended up using all of his recommendations which took a lot of the hassle out of organising the wedding. His recommendation for tea and coffee (a really nice guy from Cork called Marc, Golden bean rostery, who roasts his own coffee beans and sets up in his own little marquee / stall) was particularly popular with our guests.
Looking back on it now there’s no way we could imagine having the wedding catered by anyone other than Wildside Catering. Our expectations were high based on the menu discussions we had with Ted earlier in the year (all of his options looked great) and because he catered a party for us a couple of years ago which was also excellent but we really have to say our expectations were far exceeded.
